Your Careers Entitlement

Here at The Bulwell Academy we believe that your first day at school is the time that you should be really thinking about what you do when you leave.  We think that your education is the beginning of your journey to enter the world of work.

All students are entitled to careers education, information, advice and guidance that is impartial and confidential. We believe that students and parents have an entitlement to support and this can be read by clicking on the following link: Your Entitlement

Each year we have a range of activities that are designed to help you to explore what jobs or industries might be best for you.  We invite employers and specialists to come in to school to share their expertise and we organise trips and visits so that you can see the world of work for yourself.

In the know - Job Market Information

The National Careers Service (NCS) publishes regular East Midlands Labour Market Updates.

These bulletins cover sectors in the East Midlands where jobs are growing with local labour market information (LMI) including links to business / jobs news, employment trends, and upcoming events. To view the latest update click here: NCS East Midlands LMI Update
